Description:

This is a Special version of a map in the world of TNT, not story-related, just the style and the well-known combats and fights against thousands of hell-spawn-bastards and stuff :) Just to shorten the time between TNT3 and TNT4 :)

Why no one writes anything about these? They look good. But please don't make those doors on Screenie 2 go up :( I would suggest to make them polyobjects with half of door textures and make them open-like in Quake-slide. BTW Your TNT 3 was freezing! I love the mines and snow.

Thx for the info, until the final phase of the map, they open like normal doors and in the end of the development, I will make them eventually polyobjects (so I can avoid stupid HOM effects ;)). And thx for TNT3 feedback :)

Tormentor, You can make them 2-sided Polyobjects that are impassable. You can make 2 textures for them doors-one with half of the door opened (transparent) and the second without the second half of the door. I saw such textures once I was messing with Qdoom and it's maps :) Then make 2-sided polyobj's. I tried them and they're COOL- no HOMS :) BTW, will You include a music from Unreal for this map too? I suggest You do. Wargate.umx (the one from Warlord's lair map) should make fine for them magma caves ;)

About the music: Yes, wargate would fit perfect, but maybe I will use a mp3 from the soundtrack of Matrix Reloaded :)

Tormentor-You can find a good demo level on the Zdoom Forums. Look for words- 2-sided polyobjects or so. Sure, I will help You! :) Wait a day or so and I'll try to send You a demo map of that. I got Your mail, no worry :) M. Reloaded is quite a good idea, but is using a tack from a movie soundtrack a legal thing? Just curious. BTW: The music that plays in TNT3 in the Fortress map when fighting them spiders is from the game Resident Evil 3:Nemesis. Am I right :D

hell, i love everything i'm seeing in general, but i don't think you should use anything from the matrix, tormentor. something darker and slower would be better, IMO. i like to think i'm fairly good at picking out a good song for levels, you could always ask me. i have a few songs from a guy called ls-ttl that i think would be good.

Impressive. As all of your works Tormee, Shots one and two look totally quakeish, the third one would also, if wasn't for that dead green guy over there.

Anyways, I hope you'll put some hard-to-beat monsters instead of 2000 imps and 1315 Revenants. Fighting some "upgraded" Barons, Demons and such would add a lot of climate...

nice to know you're not playing mean tricks with archviles as much. (i actually played through all three of the other TNTs in one sitting today because i was uploading a large file and didn't want to mess it up by taking away bandwidth, so i needed something to do, and found that all have a much more enjoyable difficulty than city of the damned, and TNT3 is by far my favourite. the fight against the spiders? supreme.

this is freaking hard, but i love how you've put the new monsters to work. i've been trying to figure out what exactly to do with those monsters (i have a couple of ideas) and you use them nicely. the humongous fight in the big cage is ridiculous, and it's always funny to watch a cybie and a cybie mastermind duke it out.

i laughed out loud at the hitler secret, and then started laughing again a minute later when i thought of a guy i know who is probably the only person other than me who would name a song "the hitler show".

railgun zombies are cheap, but at least you didn't overdo it.

finished it. the final battle is just about the most insane thing i've ever seen. good job.
