I don't like Stargate SG-1 at all... but atleast its something different.

baphomet writes:(new) 12.11.2005, 09:10 GMT+1

This reminds me of the classic TC mod for Vanilla Doom 2 named OSIRIS.

MasterOfPuppets writes:(new) 15.11.2005, 01:28 GMT+1

interesting stargate. is it static, animated, or does it actually move like in the show - like liquid.

Nmn writes:(new) 16.11.2005, 13:18 GMT+1

Damn that last shot's console looks sexy.

ravage writes:(new) 16.11.2005, 22:37 GMT+1

My god tis thee sexy. I might get Risen3d just to play this! I love Stargate!

sitters writes:(new) 17.11.2005, 13:03 GMT+1

Thanks everybody,

Yea this is a nice theme, now I can make total different worlds where you can go-to with the star-gate.

MasterOfPuppets : the gate is animated with 6 skins.

Dittohead writes:(new) 21.11.2005, 02:13 GMT+1

Very cool! Sitters, its time to sit down and make a level set that takes full advantage of your modeling skills.

sitters writes:(new) 21.11.2005, 20:18 GMT+1

Thanks, Yea this level is going to have a lot of models with more poly's.

But I cant make the models to high in poly's because it cost render time by the engine.

So it is always switching between how much models in one room and how much poly's may have the models then.

Nmn writes:(new) 30.12.2005, 00:04 GMT+1

You sir, are a champion. A goddamn champion!

sitters writes:(new) 30.12.2005, 16:12 GMT+1

Thanks Nmn this is going to be my new stile of mapping.

I have testing this out with Risen3D, and he can handle this very well.

So lets rock and roll.

UnnoanEeviil writes:(new) 06.01.2006, 02:44 GMT+1

WOW! All I can say is WOW!!!

Infurnus writes:(new) 08.01.2006, 02:11 GMT+1

This is in DOOM?

sitters writes:(new) 08.01.2006, 18:01 GMT+1

Yea the new version of Risen3D with a lot of new features.

evilhomerdoomer writes:(new) 09.01.2006, 06:56 GMT+1

This is superb sitters. You are getting alot better with every level, both in terms of your modeling and your gameplay. Great job mate!

Pumpkinsmasher writes:(new) 09.01.2006, 22:23 GMT+1

This is looking completely awesome. I can't beleieve how nice these shots look. Though you may want to update the HUD graphics, they seems out of place.

sitters writes:(new) 11.01.2006, 19:10 GMT+1

Thanks evilhomerdoomer and pumpkinsmasher,

Yea I am thinking about making more stuff like weapon and monster packs.
An nice change between mapping.

Maybe first an weapon pack.

evilhomerdoomer writes:(new) 12.01.2006, 06:04 GMT+1

Yes, that'd be great!

ElRodo writes:(new) 14.01.2006, 17:10 GMT+1

Keep up the work! It's looking great

BTW those aren't de meshes of UT2k4? I think I've already seen them before.

sitters writes:(new) 14.01.2006, 21:16 GMT+1

I use some meshes of UT2k4 as examples for my models.

The meshes of UT are much to much poly's, so I remodel the stuff.
And uses parts of the skin to make new skins for my models.

ElRodo writes:(new) 22.01.2006, 16:05 GMT+1

It's ok sitters, but be carefull, you might get sued if they discover you.

sitters writes:(new) 22.01.2006, 19:37 GMT+1

No problem, no commercial activities, just for an hobby.

No problem, no commercial activities, just for an hobby.

Sitters, I'd be careful with that stuf. You're activity recieves no payment, but because those meshes are sold with the game, a basic rule says no one gets them unless they pay for the game they get shipped with. You're making a "freeware" competition for the UT2k4 developers and they won't like it I'm affraid. It's like you posted their work up for download at some site, which would be giving away commercial material, for free, braking the law.

Use only the stuff they'd provide in the demo of a game-that's not commercial (free stuff) because it's distributed over the internet for download, legally. So if they bugger you, tell them you have only used the stuff from the game's demo release.

sitters writes:(new) 23.01.2006, 09:47 GMT+1

Yea, but I remodel the stuff, so the models are my one.
It is looking like the orginal, but it is not the orginal.

When I use my car as an example for an new 3D model, the car company is not suing me for the design of the car model.

It is the same when I design electronics, and I don't have an patent, other company's, can change it an little bit and copy it.

When I take an photo in the museum from an painting and I redraw it, and signature it as my one, nobody is suing me.

Nmn writes:(new) 23.01.2006, 10:32 GMT+1

Ok! Just don't want you to have any problems with the suits. Keep going on the map bud!

sitters writes:(new) 23.01.2006, 19:30 GMT+1

The environment of the map is ready.

Abbs and Hawkwind are making the game-play, optimizing and testing the map.

So I am now modeling for the next level.
