Description:
Here it is, the big one. Dsv: Custom Zdoom edition is a gather of all three dsv megawads, Dsv1, War, and Revolution. This Mega-Mega wad will feature over 65 maps (would of been more but some maps has been scraped) and a couple of new Zdoom effects thrown in as well.
For those who don't know what the heck Dsv is, I'll tell you ;)
Dsv, which stands for Doom + my initials is a personal collection of Doom maps that I made back in 98 when I first got my own computer and first discovered the wonders of mapping. Ever since I played Doom on the PSX back in 95, I always wanted to make my own maps. The Dsv megawad is the result of all of the ideas I've had during the long wait. Later I wanted to add some story dealing with a virus that takes control of UAC's portal system, and unleashing the demons of hell once again, thus called the Dimentional Slipgate Virus (dsv).
The second (actual) megawad I've done is Dsv 3: War, which features another 32 maps and better level improvement (not the best, but better than the previous megawad ;) ) This is probably my most memorable and favorate wad that I've made.
The third is Dsv 4: The Revolution features another solid 32 levels featuring scripting and Doom64 resources (not the accurate D64 TC stuff, but screencaps) and even better level design. This fourth installment of the dsv series somehow became quite popular among some communities, and now Dsv 4 will finally make it to the Zdoom port :)
Also this megawad will feature a couple of unfinished/scrapped maps durning the development of Dsv 2: the scrapped megawad.
ohemgee, so this actually lives? Looking forward-all DSV's under my fave port!
EDIT: This means Outcast will never be? :-((((
Shot 2 needs more detailing on the ground and a lower unpeg at the window. Shot 3 rules.
isnt it better to just make new maps?
they'll be better and it'll probaly go faster aswell.
