Hello to all !
I am proud to present a map I've been working on for quite some time (1 whole year). It is my second map released to the public (First one was an e1m8 remake) and I tried my best to take into account the feedback I got from my first map.
It is a map for zdoom and thus it has been tested on the latest svn builds of zdoom/gzdoom. Everything works as it should and I haven't found any bugs yet but if you do, please be so kind and report them in the comment section and I will try my best to adress the isues.
The map takes the e4m1 slot (It's for ultimate doom) and it started as an e4m1 remake. However, as I went on with building the map, I found that I couldn't do very much on it that was worthy of a remake so I decided to make it a standalone map that maintains a few "known" areas (You might recognise the starting area of e4m1 for example).
The map is not very challenging mostly because it was not my primary objective. My aim was to make a map that prones exploration (You can find a total of 15 secrets: Some are easy, others may be a little harder to find) and I think I succeeded in that matter. I tried to make the monster placement interesting although you may find it a litle random at times (I'm not very good at monster placement but I'm working on it ^^).
The map comes with "new" textures (Mostly from realm667) and a few "new" monsters (Also realm667)but I wanted to keep the original roster to a maximum so there aren't that many new monsters ;)
I would like to have your opinion on the map (Constructive criticism), so don't hesitate to comment.
