Description:
A large level which takes place in a power facility which is built into a mountain and hangs over the ocean. I'm too lazy to write some BS story that no one will care about anyway. hehe. Takes full advantage of several Eternity Engine features including portals and 3dMidTextures.
looks sexy :) hooray for eternity! just make sure to update the shots when you add in portals :P
Looks loltastic! Are there any eternity-specific things we can see in these shots?
Manc: shot 1 has two portals which show area below and above the building. Shot 2 shows the mountains shooting up over the building :) Portals rule!
Ahh man, sweet looking stuff. Ogro has always been one of my favourite texture sets.
Hey, superb light usage there in shot#3
hm, looks quake-ish...BOOOOOOOOOOOO
lol, jk. looks cool, shot 3 rulez
Seems like fun. Nice architecture and texturing.
looking good SoM.. can't wait to play it. :)
i like it so far. the lights alone are jizztastic.
too bad. i dig seas of lava.
Oh so that's what changed. Heh I was playing the beta and something seemed different but I just couldn't figure it out :P Now that I realize that, I think the water looks a lot better.
You should try doing something with my texture pack ;)
Nmn: where's your texture pack?
Yeah I got to play the Beta of this and it was awesome. Great use of portals and all that other cool things that Eternity can do. :)
And the water looks awesome.
Looks cool, however the texturing looks really, well, bad. It's just so bland and repetetive(like someone said earlier, looks like quake, which had bland and repetetive texturing).
This is interesting.
Can You prove an example-of non-repetive texturing? Maybe the textures being rather, well, generic can make such an impression?
i think that's what i really meant- the textures just look really similar to each other(bland).
I think this is the first wad to really put portals to good use, and show their usefullness. Also, I'm impressed that so many 3d midtextures don't lag down as bad as they often do. Four Flippers from Scuba Steve.
